Are there any additional costs?

Our standard plan includes your entire web site with professional stock photography and well documented instructions for how you can maintain your site yourself.  You may elect to use our Premium Plan which includes six free updates, an animated image video with your choice of music, and one year of free hosting.  You may also elect to choose single upgrades from any of the Premium Plan features.

What are the technical requirements?

Your hosting company must be able to support Wordpress blogs.  Most hosting companies do. If not, we  recommend you move your site to another hosting company (we’ll be happy to help you with that at no additional charge).  We will also need access to your account with your hosting company.  Whoever built your site in the first place should have the necessary information for that.

Can I really update the site myself?

Absolutely!  All you need is a browser and the ability to type.  You will need no programming skills. You can add or update a page or photo and see the results in minutes.  It really is that simple.  Your updates will however need to conform with the theme template, which is the basic layout of the web site.  You will only need a professional if you want to do something outside the scope of the theme.  If you do, we can do that for you, or you can easily hire someone who understands how to update Wordpress themes to do that.  We will provide you with a PDF document that shows you how to update everything on your site.  In rare cases, you we may include some simple HTML codes to enhance the view of the site.  If that is the case, we will document them clearly in your “How To Manual” so that you can easily make changes if required.
